Do you need to see a rheumatologist?

The most straight forward answer would be that you need to ask your family doctor. Family doctors are trained specialists who can help figure out whether you need to see a rheumatologist, an orthopedic surgeon, or another specialist. If you do, please ask your family doctor to refer you to us. Details are here.

Is distance a concern to see Dr. Yeung?

One of the biggest challenges in healthcare is the distance between patient's homes and doctor's offices. Dr. Yeung uses telehealth (ZOOM) as a means of connecting with patients who may find it difficult travelling long distances to see him in Richmond. Of course, there are some restrictions and limitations to such an assessment but feel free to ask Dr. Yeung about this option.

(Note: this is only available for follow-up appointments in certain circumstances.)

During the COVID-19 pandemic, appointments are scheduled virtually. For the safety of our staff and other patients, in-clinic appointments will be scheduled if Dr. Yeung deemed necessary.

Does Dr. Yeung work out of any other clinic?

No, as of August 2020, we have permanently closed our Surrey office.

WHAT IS YOUR WAIT TIME?

It varies. Our office receives a high volume of referrals daily and we appreciate your patience as we triage and schedule patients in. If your condition is worsening while waiting for an appointment to see Dr. Yeung, please consult your family physician first.
